She used to gallop with ease, but now her caliper’s seized
She’s shaking like a little leaf
Her drag link’s loose, axel’s leaking juice
She’s a brave as she can be

There we times I could help with her fast failing health
Patch a leak, replace a starter or two
But now with added risk, it’s not an easy fix
There’s not much more that I can do

She used to gleam with her high-beam streams
Seemingly seeing our path ahead
But now her light’s gone out, she’s dark throughout
She’s tired and worn tire tread

Losing her cool while her coolant pools
She’ll turn into her own hearse
While under ninety an hour, she’s losing horsepower
She’ll trot to the final verse

Now it’s come the time we’ll take that final drive
And she will honk me goodbye
I’ll park her somewhere fine with a view of the line
And she can watch the cars go by
